Linings of Eau Claire opened in 1997. The company name changed four years ago and co-owner Peter Bergee recently considered the growth potential for his business by teaming with U-Haul, the leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage.
Bergee and his partner Josh Dixon have focused their efforts on promoting U-Box to Eau Claire because of the many students in the area and their need to keep their belongings safe and secure.
"I think U-Box is unique," Bergee said. "There is no storage on campus."
Linings of Eau Claire is situated off Highway 37, which runs into Highway 12 and is near the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The proximity to the university is the primary reason why Bergee added U-Box to his line of U-Haul products.
