Set up utilities early. – About the worst thing you can do is hauling boxes into a new home that has no air conditioning. Temperatures inside a home often can be warmer than outside, especially if you are dealing with a multilevel home. Call ahead to ensure that the utilities will be on when you get to your new home.
Protect Your Belongings
With temperatures in Phoenix and even across the country reaching as high as 120 degrees in the summer, leaving your belongings outside in direct sunlight and heat exposure can cause many materials to warp, melt or fade.
