U-verse App For Apple Watch Available Now
Latest App Update Brings U-verse Features to Apple Watch
DALLAS, June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- "Watch TV" could take on a whole new meaning if you're a U-verse® TV customer. AT&T* unveiled an update to its U-verse® App** that is compatible with Apple Watch. Customers can download the latest version of the U-verse App on the App Store for Apple Watch, located within the Apple Watch app on iPhone.
With U-verse for Apple Watch, customers can:
- Use Apple Watch as a remote control
- View their list of Favorite channels, then use Apple Watch to tune their TV to a Favorite
- Receive notifications about upcoming programming
- View customized programming recommendations
- Manage DVR recordings
The U-verse App for Apple Watch is available for free on the App Store for Apple Watch.

When using the U-verse App on a smartphone or tablet, customers have access to up to 242 live TV channels available inside the home, and up to 202 live TV channels on the go – that's more than twice as many live TV channels on the go than cable.
