LONDON, January 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Misys plc (LSE: MSY), the global application software and services company, today announces that UBI Banca Niederlassung Munich, part of UBI Banca, has gone live with Misys Midas Plus, the most widely used core banking solution in the world. Midas Plus provides the bank with support for the whole of its banking systems, enhancing both performance and efficiency.

UBI Banca Niederlassung Munich, is part of the UBI Banca Group, the fifth largest Italian banking group. It previously used Oracle Flexcube and the senior management team wanted to take advantage of the superior capabilities of Misys Midas Plus. As a provider of e-Banking, FX & MM services, the bank chose Midas Plus as the ideal solution to improve the quality and breadth of the service offering, whilst provide a platform for expansion.
