UBM Canon Announces Significant Investment and Development Plans for the Next Generation of Qmed.com

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Canon announced today at MD&M West in Anaheim that it will be investing significant resources in Qmed to build on its success since its 2010 launch. As part of these planned enhancements, the Canon Data Mine (CDM) database product will become part of Qmed, the world's only 100% qualified supplier search engine and sourcing platform for medical device OEMs. As part of the new alignment, the CDM database application will be exclusively available to Qmed suppliers with enhanced/paid listings.
