SHANGHAI, June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, UBM China, a wholly owned subsidiary of UBM Asia, officially signed an agreement with Chengdu Tianyi Exhibition Co., Ltd. to jointly run the Health Expo China West, which is to be held concurrently with CWMEE 2016.
This cooperation adds another member to UBM's healthcare exhibition family, following MEDTEC China and DENTECH China, and fills its blank in medical equipment exhibition market in west China. It's also another concrete cooperative project in Chengdu after the signing of the memorandum of understanding for strategic cooperation between UBM Live (UBM) and Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Exposition. Previously, UBM has successfully organized Airport City and HOTELEX in Chengdu; and it will hold the 22nd World Routes in the city next year.
Founded in 2002, the CWMEE has been jointly organized by 11 healthcare industry associations in Sichuan including Sichuan Hospitals Association, Sichuan Rural Health Association, Sichuan Blood Transfusion Association, Sichuan Rehabilitation Medicine Association, Sichuan Medical Device Industry Association, and hosted by Chengdu Tianyi Exhibition Co., Ltd. After 13 years of continuous innovation and growth, the CWMEE has become the largest and most prestigious exhibition for medical devices and related products and services in west China. The newly added Health Expo China West, to be run concurrently with the CWMEE, will consist of four sections including the Exhibition of Hospitals' Infrastructure Development, the Exhibition of Hospitals' IT Development, the Exhibition of Smart Healthcare and the Exhibition of Medical Equipment Design and Technology; its venues are expected to exceed 30,000 square meters.
