Under Armour Signs NFL All-Pro Patrick Peterson

BALTIMORE, July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Under Armour has signed two-time First-Team NFL All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson to a multi-year partnership. Selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons, Peterson is an elite playmaker with game-changing speed and has established himself as one of the top young players in the NFL. Along with a growing list of NFL stars, he will train and compete on Sundays in the Brand's innovative footwear and apparel.

Following his award-winning career at Louisiana State University, Peterson was chosen with the fifth pick of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals and is seen by many as the game's best all around athlete. He has started all 48 games at cornerback for the Cardinals in his first three seasons recording 12 interceptions and recovering nine fumbles. He tied the NFL record for most punt return touchdowns in a season, holds the Cardinals franchise record for longest punt return for a touchdown, most punt return touchdowns in a single season and most punt return yards in a single season.

While at Louisiana State University, Peterson solidified himself as one of the most explosive players in college football. During his three years at LSU, Peterson amassed a total of 104 solo tackles and 7 interceptions, while earning the 2010 Chuck Bednarik Award, 2010 Jim Thorpe Award, 2010 SEC Defensive Player of the Year, and being named a 2010 Consensus All-American.
