Unity of The Light Transfers Its USPTO Trademark for Use of the Name Urantia in Media Communications to Urantia Foundation

CHICAGO, Oct. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Urantia Foundation said it is pleased to announce receipt of the officially completed transfer of the trademark assignment for use of the Urantia name in all media-related communications from Unity of The Light, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading the teachings of The Urantia Book through spiritual education.

This transfer further consolidates Urantia Foundation's role as the guardian of all registered trademarks associated with the word Urantia and strengthens its stewardship of the Urantia name in digital and broadcast media.

By transferring the application, Unity of the Light has strengthened Urantia Foundation's ability to protect the trademark for the name Urantia, ensuring it remains legally accessible for the wider community.
