Univar Solutions Adopts 'Advancing a Circular Economy' as a Sustainability Goal to 2021

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Univar Inc. (NYSE: UNVR) ("Univar Solutions"), a global chemical and ingredient distributor and provider of value-added services, announced today it has adopted Dow's 'Advancing a Circular Economy' goal as one of its sustainability 'Goals to 2021'. The announcement came during a recent North American sales meeting where Univar Solutions president and chief executive officer, David Jukes, and Dow chief executive officer, Jim Fitterling, held a fireside chat.

The goal focuses on advancing a circular economy by redesigning, recycling, reusing and remanufacturing to keep materials at their highest value use for as long as possible.
