Update: Carnegie Council Launches Weekly International Affairs TV Program on MHz Worldview

NEW YORK, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The first 13-week series of Carnegie Council's Global Ethics Forum airs nationally on MHz Worldview in September.

Custom-designed for television, Global Ethics Forum is a half-hour international affairs program debuting on the MHz Worldview Lecture block on Sunday, September 5 at 2 PM ET.

How do global leaders make decisions? What moral codes guide them--and how do those codes evolve?

The Council's regular scheduled time on MHz will include two half-hour shows back to back: one contemporary discussion and one timeless classic.

Global Ethics Forum is a weekly television show produced by the Carnegie Ethics Studio, a division of the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. Each week, different experts navigate the murky moral landscapes presented by global politics, development, and international business. New episodes often confront challenges relevant to current events, while episodes in the Carnegie Classics series address longer-term ethical topics.

The series program premier will feature political scientist and journalist Stephen Kinzer on U.S. relations with Iran and Turkey in the first half-hour, followed by historian Niall Ferguson on the financial crash and the symbiotic relationship between China and the U.S. that he has labeled "Chimerica."
