UPstART Announces Opening of Its Newest Shared Room Community

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- UPstART, a leading communal housing operator and private club for artists and musicians, announced today that it has opened Harvard House, a 96-bed community located at 816 N. Hobart Boulevard in the East Hollywood region of Los Angeles, California. UPstART operates five communities in the Echo Park, Silver Lake, Hollywood and Beachwood Canyon areas of Los Angeles. There are currently 250 active UPstART members with a waitlist of more than 500. The company has an active pipeline for an additional 700 beds in the next 18 months. 

In addition to providing housing for its members, the community features a fully equipped recording studio, photo studio, self-tape room, fitness center, stage and theater, co-working space with computer labs, film equipment library and more.
