Urban Air Adventure Park Gifts Over 80 Birthday Parties in Continued Partnership with Chosen Ones Foster & Adoptive Family Support
DALLAS, March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Urban Air Adventure Park, the world's leader in active indoor family entertainment, announced today that they will continue their mission to bring joy to homeless children through the magic of birthday parties.
The Chosen Ones Birthday Wish Program began one year ago and is currently serving three Texas Park locations: Urban Air Southlake, Urban Air Bedford and Urban Air Dallas Fort Worth. Chosen Ones is a 501c3 non-profit organization equipping fostering adoptive families through Christ-centered recruiting, connection and support so that no family will have to walk alone.
"For kids in Foster Care, birthdays are not always fun and exciting, celebrated or remembered," said Chosen Ones Founder Vickie Akins. "A birthday party may seem like something very small, but for a child who has had a trauma-filled life, it can be a hugely positive and beneficial experience." Birthday parties at Urban Air are held monthly. To date, Urban Air Adventure Park has gifted over 80 parties with an estimated 600 kids and counting. Chosen Ones receive the Ultimate Birthday Party Package, allowing them to pick nine of their friends which gives them a private party room complete with their own host, cake, presents, hugs and high-fives from our lovable monkey mascot "Urbie".
