U.S. Cellular Begins a Summer of Better Moments with Summerfest Concert

MILWAUKEE, June 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Cellular will kick-off Summerfest with a free pre-event concert featuring Juno Awards 2013 "Breakthrough Group of the Year" nominee Hey Ocean! at Cathedral Square Park in downtown Milwaukee on Tuesday, June 25, from 6 - 7 p.m.  The concert is open to the public and is the first in a series of U.S. Cellular-sponsored events in Wisconsin this summer.

Green Bay Packer all-time leading receiver, Super Bowl Champion and Dancing with the Stars Champion Donald Driver will also be in attendance to help launch the festivities. Driver will be onsite as a member of U.S. Cellular's Band of Better, a group of individuals who reward customers' loyalty by treating them like VIPs and giving them exclusive upgrades, giveaways, event experiences and other premium services at events across Wisconsin.

The fun will continue the following day (Wednesday, June 26) at Summerfest when Driver and the Band of Better will be on the Summerfest grounds giving festival-goers and U.S. Cellular customers VIP experiences and giveaways from Noon – 4 p.m. U.S. Cellular wants to provide tools to help people use technology to enjoy Better Moments with family, and Summerfest marks the beginning of a summer full of Better Moments for Wisconsin residents.

• Milwaukee Brewers Games: July 10, 19, 20, 21 and August 16 and 18
• Moonlit Movies: July 18 (Fowler Park); August 15 (downtown Milwaukee)
