WASHINGTON, Jan. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Super Bowl XLVIII will be played Feb. 2 at the home of the New York Jets and New York Giants.  This will be the first time the Super Bowl has been held in the New York City metropolitan area, as well as being the first Super Bowl played outdoors in the northern U.S. To commemorate this occasion, the Census Bureau has compiled a collection of facts examining the demographics of the host city, as well as the cities represented by the remaining teams in the playoffs, the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.
