What: The U.S. Census Bureau will hold an audio news conference to release new data on minority-, women- and veteran-owned businesses. The data show the number of all businesses and their receipts and employment at the national and state level as well as other details.
This information comes from the 2007 Economic Census Survey of Business Owners and provides the only comprehensive look at the growth in entrepreneurship among minorities, women and veterans and the impact of their businesses on the U.S. economy.
The event will consist of a simultaneous audio conference and online presentation in webinar format. There will be no physical event associated with this conference. Information on accessing the online presentation is provided below. Reporters will be able to ask questions once the data presentation is complete.
