U.S. News & World Report Names CSA's East Bay Surgery Center and Middlesex Endoscopy Center Among "Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers" for Second Consecutive Year

AVON, Conn., March 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second consecutive year, East Bay Surgery Center and Middlesex Endoscopy Center have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as among the 2025 Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the United States. Both East Bay and Middlesex are operated and jointly owned by Constitution Surgery Alliance ("CSA"), a leading national developer and operator of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs).

East Bay, an AAAHC-accredited facility in Swansea, Massachusetts, was named in the Best Ophthalmology category. Middlesex, an AAAHC-accredited facility in Middletown, Connecticut, was named in the Best Colonoscopy/Endoscopy category.

U.S. News' second annual ratings offer Americans data-driven insights into their local ambulatory surgery center to inform their choices for quality outpatient surgery centers. 4,357 surgery centers nationwide across four separate specialty areas were evaluated on objective measures of their patients' care, including how successfully they avoided complications, ER visits, unplanned hospitalizations and other undesirable outcomes. U.S. News recognizes only the highest-rated surgery centers in each specialty that satisfy U.S. News' statistical assessment of performance; fewer than 17% of evaluated facilities earned a "Best" Ambulatory Surgery Centers rating for the 2025 study.
