US Patent Granted for InQpharm's Litramine™ Technology

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- InQpharm Group proudly announces the grant of patent No. US 9,107,441 B2 issued for an improved formulation of its Litramine™ technology in the United States.

This invention relates to compositions for reducing the absorption or bioavailability of lipids in the gastrointestinal tract, and to methods for the preparation and use of these compositions. The compositions comprise a source of dietary plant fibers together with cyclodextrin for use in weight management programs that include healthy eating.
