Five-minute walkthrough shows engineers and contractors how overhead power connects and adapts as equipment layouts change.
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- USA TrackBusway® has released a new T225 installation video to help engineers, electrical contractors and facility teams evaluate overhead power for changing equipment layouts. The five-minute walkthrough shows how the company's 225A-per-phase track busway is assembled, connected and fitted with compatible plug-in power units.
Watch the T225 installation video.
The resource follows the company's June 2026 announcement of T225 availability. It gives project teams a closer look at how the system's parts work together, from suspending a straight run to positioning power connections near equipment. It is intended for teams planning manufacturing rows, robotics cells, laboratories, logistics facilities and suitable data center equipment zones.
"Engineers and contractors need to see how a system fits together before they can judge it for a project," said Michael Gellert, President, USA TrackBusway. "This video walks through the T225 installation sequence and shows how compatible power connections can be repositioned as equipment layouts change."
Four stages, from suspension to equipment connections
- Hanging: See how suspension hardware supports and aligns the straight busway sections.
- Joining: Follow the mechanical and electrical connections between adjacent T225 sections.
- Feeding: See how the end feed connects to the busway run.
- Tap-off units: Watch compatible plug-in power connections being installed and repositioned along the run.
T225 provides continuous plug-in access along the busway. Compatible tap-off units bring power from the overhead run to equipment at selected locations. This lets project teams plan point-of-use power around their layout and review options when equipment moves or needs change.
Video and planning resources in one place
The dedicated watch page links to the T225 installation and operation manual, system information, feed and tap-off options, and technical resources. Engineers and contractors can use these materials to review system components and discuss project requirements with USA TrackBusway.
The video supplements the system manual. Qualified personnel must follow the T225 manual and applicable electrical procedures for installation and reconfiguration.
Project teams can request complimentary layout support to discuss a proposed Track Busway layout.
