Valley Oaks Health Expands Primary Care Services to Rensselaer This Fall

RENSSELAER, Ind., Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Valley Oaks Health has been a trusted provider of behavioral health services for nearly 100 years and continues to expand access to quality, compassionate healthcare through integrated services. September 1, 2026, Valley Oaks Health is expanding Primary Medical Care to its Rensselaer office, bringing integrated, whole-person healthcare closer to home for residents in and around Jasper and Newton Counties.

Rural communities across Indiana continue to face challenges accessing timely healthcare. According to the Indiana Rural Health Association, rural communities have approximately five primary care physicians for every 10,000 residents, compared to eight per 10,000 residents in urban areas.
