Inaugural New York showcase brought together emerging fashion, Vanderbilt heritage and immersive technology at Vanderbilt Hall

NEW YORK, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Vanderbilt & Seewald Global Studio, the designer growth and commerce platform co-founded by Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin and Michaela Seewald, partnered with House of Vanderbilt and AEXA, a pioneer in AI-powered holographic technology, to create an immersive exploration of Vanderbilt history during the Studio's inaugural showcase on September 15 at Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal.

The presentation brought together fashion, heritage and technology as part of Vanderbilt & Seewald Global Studio's mission to provide selected designers with a platform for greater international visibility, strategic development and commercial growth.

As a special heritage element within the show, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin interacted with holographic representations of four figures from Vanderbilt history: Cornelius Vanderbilt and three pioneering women of the family — Alva Vanderbilt, Consuelo Vanderbilt Balsan and Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney.

Powered by AEXA's holographic AI technology, the experience brought generations of Vanderbilt history into the present, creating a dialogue between legacy and contemporary innovation. The setting carried particular significance: Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal, a landmark deeply connected to the Vanderbilt family's history.
