Throughout 2015, the company will gift over one thousand standing desks to numerous non-profits and educational institutions within the U.S. As research continues to surface about the adverse effects of prolonged sitting, VARIDESK's goal is to provide a happier, healthier and more productive workplace by offering an alternative to a traditional "sitting desk." As such, this program aims to improve the working lives of numerous educators, volunteers, philanthropists and humanitarians alike.
"VARIDESK – Stand for a Difference" kicks off this month with a donation of 100 desks to the Coppell Independent School District in Coppell, TX. VARIDESK employees will hand-deliver the desks to Coppell ISD faculty members at more than 13 different locations. To commemorate the launch of this initiative, VARIDESK will host a "special-delivery" drop-off event from 11:30-12:30 PM CT on Friday, April 17th at Coppell Middle School North (120 Natches Trace, Coppell, TX 75019).
