Varsity Tutors Continues National Expansion by Offering Tutoring Services in Austin, Texas

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Varsity Tutors has continued to expand its geographic operations by adding a new site in Austin, Texas. The company currently operates in 15 other major metro areas. As of February 1, Varsity Tutors will begin offering tutoring in Austin.

Varsity Tutors already serves two large markets in Texas – Dallas Fort Worth and Houston, the latter's operations having been named "Best Tutoring Company" by the Houston Press. Receiving honors such as that, in addition to positive word-of-mouth referrals, have led to an increasingly interested client-base throughout Texas. With a growing population and a strong college presence, Austin presents a vibrant opportunity to match students to premier tutors. Varsity Tutors has capitalized on a significant volume of tutor requests it has received and made in-home tutoring available to an even larger number of students within the state. The company is also exploring opening a San Antonio location in the near future.

The company is currently seeking at least 50 private tutors to help service its Austin clients. Interested candidates should apply on the company's online tutoring job application.

Founder and CEO Chuck Cohn says it has always been an important goal to make the company's offerings as widely available as possible across the U.S. Due to the rise in the competitiveness of admissions and a generally more intensive focus on standardized test scores, Varsity Tutors has been receiving an ever-increasing number of inquiries for individually tailored private tutoring. Demand for high school chemistry tutoring has been particularly strong.
