VeriTainer Corporation Retains Merriman Capital Inc. to Upgrade its Shares to the OTCQX

SAN FRANCISCO, April 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- VeriTainer Corporation, the world leader in crane mounted scanning technology, has retained Merriman Capital Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of  Merriman Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq CM: MERR), to act as their exclusive Designated Advisor for Disclosure (DAD) as the Company moves to trade its shares on the OTCQX. In parallel, Merriman has been retained by the Company for capital markets advisory services.

OTCQX distinguishes the best companies traded over-the-counter (OTC) from more than 9,000 securities traded on the OTCBB and OTC Link that are not required to meet any financial standards or undergo a qualitative review.
