Verizon FiOS TV Launches Fox International Channels' Utilisima U.S.

NEW YORK, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon FiOS TV's Spanish-language content offering is expanding this week with the launch of Fox International Channels' newest network: Utilisima U.S. The only 100 percent Spanish-language lifestyle network joins FiOS TV's extensive channel lineup, which includes 27 Spanish-language channels in addition to nearly 40 other international channels covering more than 20 languages – a collection that cable can't match.

Utilisima U.S. launched Monday (July 12) in the Maryland and Virginia FiOS TV markets, and will be accessible in all regions by the end of the week.  The channel is available in the FiOS TV Extreme HD, Ultimate HD, La Conexion and Spanish-language packages.

Found on FiOS TV Channel 1582, Utilisima's programming spans a host of genres, including food, home improvement, health and beauty, parenting and crafts.  The network's signature shows include "Design Shop," offering a look at the creation of unique home objects; "Beauty Plan," which provides an array of tips to highlight and renovate women's beauty styles; "Being a Woman," a program that addresses motherhood, children's education, relationships, self-esteem conflicts and more; and "Make it Simple," addressing simple ways to make souvenirs, paintings and other items.

Utilisima's companion website, www.utilisima.com, features more than 5,000 recipes read by more than 2 million users every month and produces 1,200 hours of original content across a wide variety of original shows.
