NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fans of New Jersey high school sports will be able to watch the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association state boys and girls Tournament of Champions in basketball, wrestling -- and for the first time, the state hockey championships – exclusively on FiOS1 on Verizon's FiOS TV service.
Through Verizon's partnership with the Star Ledger/NJ.com, FiOS1 Channel 1 will air more than 30 high school playoff and championship games, starting with boys basketball NJSIAA North 2 Group 4 First Round Union at Elizabeth on March 1 at 7:30 p.m. Games will air Monday through Sunday throughout March. All FiOS1 viewers in central and northern New Jersey will have access to the programming.
