Verizon Retailer to Host Fourth Annual Rescues Rock Initiative to Support Animal Rescues

• Round Room's TCC and Wireless Zone Stores Hold Pet Adoption Events Across the U.S. on May 17
• National Retailer Pet Supplies Plus Will be Giving Away Tote Bags, Coupons, Toys, and More at Select Locations
• To Round Out Rescues Rock, One Animal Shelter Will be Gifted a $10,000 Grant

FISHERS, Ind., May 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its commitment to give back and strengthen communities across the country, Round Room, LLC, one of the nation's largest Verizon Authorized Retailers, is excited to host its fourth annual Rescues Rock initiative at its participating TCC and Wireless Zone retail locations. The initiative aims to support local animal rescue organizations via the gifting of a $10,000 grant to an animal shelter and on-site pet adoptions events, which will occur on May 17.

How to Participate:

• Attend a Pet Adoption – Participating TCC and Wireless Zone locations will host on-site pet adoption events starting at 1:00 p.m. local time on May 17. In partnership with local shelters of their choice, stores will have cats and dogs available for adoption, along with free adoption kits, while supplies last.

Pet Supplies Plus Partnership:

• To further its commitment of helping 20,000 pets get adopted in 2025, national retail franchise Pet Supplies Plus is supporting this year's Rescues Rock initiative at select TCC and Wireless Zone locations. At the adoption events, Pet Supplies Plus will be supplying tote bags stuffed with coupons, a new pet parent checklist, and toys, while supplies last. Those who adopt a pet during one of the adoption events will also have the opportunity to win a $250 Pet Supplies Plus gift card to stock up on essential supplies their new pet needs.

$10,000 Grant:

• To round out the Rescues Rock initiative, TCC and Wireless Zone will be awarding one animal rescue organization a $10,000 grant to use on immediate animal medical needs. More information about the finalists can be found here and here, and the winning rescue will be announced live on social media during the adoption events on May 17.

Between 4.6 and 6 million dogs and cats pass through shelters each year, but only 1 million end up being adopted. Round Room remains committed to raising awareness on the importance and need for animal adoption and supporting shelters in finding loving homes for these animals. Anyone interested in attending the adoption event can find the closest participating store on the TCC and Wireless Zone websites.

Rescues Rock is the second of four quarterly community events Round Room will conduct in 2025 to give back to and strengthen its store's communities. Earlier this year, Round Room held Teachers Rock to give back to teachers. In July, Round Room organizes School Rocks to help students prepare for school, followed by a Domestic Violence Awareness Month initiative throughout October.
