Version 5 of Zetadocs for NAV Embraces Cloud Document Management and Expands Global Reach

LONDON, April 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- (http://www.myprgenie.com) --  Equisys is pleased to announce the launch of Version 5 of Zetadocs for NAV, the latest version of the popular document management add-on for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Building on the success of its predecessor, Version 5 expands the capabilities and global reach of Zetadocs through its local language support for 17 countries -- including Spain, Germany and Denmark -- and the introduction of several new features:

Document storage in the Cloud or on-premise

Businesses can now opt to store their documents in the Cloud, offering easier, secure access to staff when they are out of the office. Version 5 gives NAV users the option to use Microsoft Office 365's SharePoint Online for document archiving and retrieval, as an alternative to on-premise SharePoint Server or SharePoint Foundation.

Document approvals

On-screen document approval helps to avoid paper documents such as suppliers' invoices getting lost rather than approved. Zetadocs now uses Microsoft SharePoint workflows to alert approving managers by email of documents requiring their attention. This means approvals run more efficiently and finance teams can monitor and control the authorization process.

Simpler, faster installation

A new streamlined installation process is designed to minimize the risk of implementation overruns, helping Microsoft Dynamics NAV partners ensure their customers are delighted and costs are kept within budget. The innovative new Zetadocs Interface Modifier tool saves time by automating NAV page and form edits, whilst the need for partners to install web services on SharePoint and make table modifications in NAV has also been removed. In addition, the process for upgrading from Zetadocs Express has also been simplified.
