NEW YORK, July 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Verts Mediterranean Grill is launching bold new menu items for the Summer season featuring the return of grilled corn and introducing new adventurous sauce blends. These limited-time dishes will be available at all restaurant locations starting July 7 and will last throughout the Summer season.
"The seasonal menu showcases an exceptional range of flavors made from the Summer's ripest ingredients," explained Verts Co-Founder and Co-CEO Michael Heyne. "This season we were inspired by guests' feedback and passion. Previous favorites like freshly grilled corn are back in a response to numerous requests."
The latest seasonal items include:
- Grilled Corn with Charred Green Onion: Hand shucked off the cob corn blended with charred green onion grilled fresh in our restaurants every day.
- Turmeric Cauliflower Tabbouleh: Spiced with turmeric, cauliflower replaces the traditional grain option in tabbouleh offering a fresh and lighter take on a Mediterranean favorite.
- Fire Roasted Tomato and Tahini Vinaigrette: A flavorful combination of fire roasted tomatoes combined with the nuttiness of tahini.
- Arugula Salad: Aromatic, peppery-flavored greens that are low in calories and high in taste.
The latest seasonal chef creation items include:
- Summer Meatball Pita: Our traditional pita with turkey and mushroom meatballs, arugula, cauliflower tabbouleh, hummus, pickled red onions, and tomato and tahini vinaigrette.
- Summer Corn and Falafel Salad: Arugula base topped with prepped to order falafel, grilled corn, cauliflower tabbouleh, carrot slaw, feta, tomato and tahini vinaigrette, and a sprinkle of pita crunch.
- Spicy Chicken and Grilled Corn Rice Bowl: Rice bowl topped with chicken, grilled corn, pickled jalapenos, cabbage slaw, hot harissa, tzatziki, and red pepper spice.
- Summer Pork Quinoa Bowl: Quinoa Bowl with slow-cooked pork, cauliflower tabbouleh, grilled corn, hummus, marinated olives, pickled red onions, tomato and tahini vinaigrette, and za'atar spice.
