Veterans Administration Awards Salient CRGT $17.4M Order to Provide National Configuration Management Support Services
In Support of Veterans' Healthcare, Four-Year Contract Will Protect VA's IT Investments by Maintaining an Authoritative Source Repository
FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Salient CRGT, Inc., through its subsidiary Information Innovators, Inc., ("Triple-i"), was awarded a prime task order by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle. The VA Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) order is a four-year award, valued at approximately $17.4 million and is the third prime VA contract awarded to the company this year.
The company will continue to use their configuration management (CM) experts to provide a range of support services for the VA EPMO, to include product and project level configuration management and change control, configuration environment administration, build engineering, and Veterans Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) standardization, modernization and virtualization support.
As VA systems migrate from development to maintenance, the National Configuration Management Support Services (NCMSS) team will ensure that consistency, conformity and certification procedures are followed to reduce risk, costs, ease transition, and aid in future repeatable processes, protecting the VA's mission critical IT systems.
