Video Tech Startup, Vydia, Taps Rick Saporta As Director of Data Science

Prior to Vydia, Saporta founded the Data Science department at video distribution startup, The Orchard, which played a vital role in the company's acquisition by Sony in 2015. The Data Science team is the latest addition for Vydia, which is being inundated by video consumption statistics and converting those statistics into meaning for their creators. The team is on track to grow to five members by the end of 2017 under Saporta's counsel and currently includes UPenn Computational Chemist, Michael Reca, who has a background in Natural Language Processing at CVS.

Vydia's Data Science team will dissect deep analytics and offer digestible data to over 130,000 creators worldwide, empowering them to not only manage their video content better, but smarter.
