VIEGA PROPRESS® STAINLESS AND MEGAPRESS® STAINLESS RECOGNIZED BY OPEN COMPUTE PROJECT

Viega Products Also Featured in the Open Compute Project Marketplace;
Providing Fast, Reliable Connections for Data Center Infrastructure

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Viega, a global leader in press connection and piping systems solutions, is proud to announce that its ProPress^® Stainless and MegaPress^® Stainless products have been recognized by the Open Compute Project (OCP) as OCP Accepted™ Solutions and are now listed in the OCP Marketplace, expanding the availability of press connection technology for liquid cooling and other critical data center piping applications. The global collaborative OCP Community brings together data center operators, technology providers and other industry leaders to advance open, efficient and scalable computing infrastructure. Viega is currently the only OCP Solution Provider with OCP Accepted™ press fitting products listed on the OCP Marketplace. This recognition reflects that Viega's ProPress Stainless and MegaPress Stainless have been reviewed to meet the qualifications outlined in OCP specifications for use in cloud-scale liquid cooling.

"We're honored to be recognized by the Open Compute Project," said Will Dutcher, Director, Industrial Sales, at Viega. "Its emphasis on performance, reliability and scalability closely aligns with how Viega approaches product development. In mission-critical environments like data centers, there is little room for compromise. Our goal is to give data center owners, engineers and contractors confidence that the piping systems supporting critical cooling infrastructure can be installed efficiently, perform reliably and scale with the demands of the facility. Having these products recognized by OCP reinforces that those priorities are being met and that Viega is prepared to be a partner in bringing the next generation of data infrastructure online."

Designed to provide fast, reliable connections for critical piping systems, Viega ProPress Stainless and MegaPress Stainless offer significant advantages in demanding data center environments. Viega press technology creates consistent, repeatable connections without threading, welding, or other hot work, helping contractors reduce installation time and complexity while supporting safer, more predictable project execution.

These advantages become increasingly important as data centers deploy more complex liquid cooling infrastructure and face growing pressure to bring capacity online quickly. ProPress Stainless and MegaPress Stainless can help accelerate the installation of cooling distribution piping, enable prefabrication and parallel construction activities, and simplify equipment tie-ins. The systems also provide the durability and reliability required for mission-critical infrastructure, where long-term performance is as important as installation speed.
