Vincent Burke Joins WeiserMazars LLP's Philadelphia Office

NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- WeiserMazars is pleased to announce that Vincent Burke has joined the firm as a partner with the Financial Services Consulting Group in the Philadelphia office. An industry veteran with more than 30 years of audit experience, he will focus on expanding WeiserMazars' Financial Services Consulting practice group by increasing its services tailored to both health and life insurance providers and property and casualty underwriters.

A recognized industry expert on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, Mr. Burke worked for nearly 30 years at Deloitte and Touche, where he led the Pennsylvania insurance practice for a decade and served some of the nation's largest insurance companies. Prior to joining WeiserMazars, Mr. Burke was a Senior Managing Director at a global consulting firm. He previously served as chief financial officer at Capital Blue Cross, a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania health insurance company. Mr. Burke has served a broad spectrum of insurers including life and health insurance companies, and property/casualty insurers (both personal and commercial lines) and insurance agents and brokers.

Mr. Burke is a licensed CPA in California, New York and Pennsylvania. He received his MBA in Finance from Baruch College - C.U.N.Y and his BBA in Business Administration from Marist College.
