Virginia Lawyers Media Names ARC's Kathi Argiropoulos to List of 2011 Influential Women of Virginia

ARLINGTON, Va., March 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ARC is proud to announce today that Kathi Argiropoulos, the company's vice president and general counsel, was named by Virginia Lawyers Media to its 2011 list of "Influential Women of Virginia." The list, compiled from peer nominations, recognizes women who are making notable contributions to their chosen professions, their communities, and society as a whole. An "Influential Woman of the Year" for 2011, elected by list members, will be revealed at a gala luncheon in Richmond, Va., on May 19.

A veteran of the aviation industry, Argiropoulos has served ARC in legal affairs for more than 25 years. She is a bar member of the Supreme Court of Virginia, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a member of the American Bar Association (Air and Space Law Forum, Antitrust and Business Law Sections) and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Argiropoulos also served as a director of the Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association (WMACCA) and as its president in 1990.
