Visible Measures Awarded Patent for Measuring Online Video Viewing Time

BOSTON, Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Visible Measures, the analytics and advertising platform for social video, today announced that it has recently been issued its second United States patent. U.S. Patent No. 7,930,391, based on an application filed in 2008, covers the Visible Measures methodology for determining viewing time of an online video through calculating the amount of time a user spends on a Web page containing an embedded video. This unique approach enables Visible Measures to provide online video publishers and advertisers visibility into the amount of time audiences spend with their video content and advertisements.
