Vision Airlines Winter Seat Sale

SUWANEE, Ga., Feb. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for Valentine's Day and Presidents' Day weekend, Vision Airlines, the nation's newest big jet, low-cost carrier, is having its winter seat sale with one-way fares as low as $59* between Niagara Falls International Airport, NY (Buffalo/Toronto) and Northwest Florida Regional Airport (Destin/Ft. Walton Beach) and $79* between Niagara Falls and Miami International Airport.

Vision Airlines is also selling $39* one-way fares between NW Florida Regional and Miami International Airport.

Specially-priced fares from Niagara Falls to Florida are for flights that take-off between February 14, 2011 and February 20, 2011. The $39 fares are for flights between NW Florida and Miami apply to that take-off between now and May 1, 2011. The sale ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on February 17, 2011.

"While the Niagara Falls flights attract many Western New York residents, they also lure Canadians to drive from nearby Toronto," says Vision Airlines' spokesman Bryan Glazer. "Canadians driving across the border avoid paying the $140 per ticket international tariff; avert long delays at airport immigration and customs check points and they can park at the Niagara Falls airport for only $4 per day."

International flights from Toronto to Florida are as much as 300 percent more expensive than flights from U.S. cities to Florida, according to Glazer.

Vision Airlines' Chief Operating Officer, David Meers, explains, "The majority of our Canadian passengers flying to Miami vacation on South Beach and Hollywood or board cruiseships at the Port of Miami or Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale."

Mega-Expansion

After 16 years as one of the world's most-successful charter carriers, Vision Airlines announced on February 18 that it is now expanding into commercial passenger service with flights from 23 U.S. cities.

The company also says it will grow its charter flight service from New York and Miami to Havana, Cuba.
