Vision Global Foundation (VGF) Donates $75,000 to Benefit Hurricane Victims in Houston and Puerto Rico and the Survivors and Victims in Las Vegas
Two Athletes From Esports Franchise Echo Fox, Along With Vision Venture Partners' COO, Select Hometown Charities for Donations
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Vision Global Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Beverly Hills-based private equity firm Vision Venture Partners (VVP), announced that it will make three sizable donations that bring special meaning to members of its staff. For long-time Las Vegas resident and current VVP COO, Chris Nordling, the recent senseless mass shooting personally affected many of his friends and associates. For VVP affiliated entity Echo Fox esports athlete and Houston native, Brad Vaughn "Scar," Hurricane Harvey impacted his friends and family while Hurricane Maria hit close to home for fellow Echo Fox athlete and Gears of War 4 pro Jamie Rivera, a Puerto Rican native.
To honor these "employees," the Vision Global Foundation is making three separate $25,000 donations under each of their names to charities benefiting the victims and survivors of the three tragedies.
The effort was driven by Amit Raizada, President of Vision Global Foundation. "We live in a connected world – never more evident than when tragedies personally touch our friends, family and co-workers," he said. "We've been confronted by several concurrent disasters and our Foundation partners decided joint action was needed to assist on these three different fronts."

These are the donations being allocated:

- To help Puerto Rico victims, Jamie Rivera selected Save the Children: https://secure.savethechildren.org/
These efforts represent only a portion of anticipated charitable activities on the horizon for the Vision Global Foundation. Upcoming initiatives include esports scholarships coordinated by Raizada and Rick Fox, a VVP partner and former three-time NBA Champion. Vision Global Foundation is also committed to working closely with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on charitable projects expected to be finalized in the near future.
