Visionworks Grand Opening event introduces eye care services to Wilmington market

WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Visionworks, the largest wholly owned U.S.-based optical retailer, has announced that its Brandywine Town Center store is now open. Located at 3030 Brandywine Parkway in Wilmington, it is one of the 25 stores expected to open in the Greater Philadelphia and tri-state area through 2013, a region which includes Delaware.

A grand opening event for the general public is planned for Saturday, Dec. 15 from noon until 2 p.m. At the event, participants will have an opportunity to win a $500 "family of eye wear" package that will provide gift cards to cover the cost of eye wear for a family of five. Other prizes include non-prescription sunglasses and a $100 gift card.
