Vormetric Appoints Susan Leonard Vice President of Human Resources
Strengthens executive team with HR leadership and focus to enable growth
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vormetric, a leader in enterprise data security for physical, virtual, big data and cloud environments, today announced the appointment of Susan Leonard as vice president of human resources.
Reporting directly to CEO and President Alan Kessler, Leonard has global responsibility for human resources and brings with her more than 25 years of experience in the field. As part of the executive team, she will provide strategic HR leadership to support critical business objectives as the organization scales. Leonard will be instrumental in acquisition and retention of critical talent while working to reinforce and drive Vormetric's culture of innovation, accountability and integrity.

Leonard joins Vormetric with experience in human resources working for a variety of companies ranging from small, start-up organizations to large, publically traded companies. Most recently, she spent three years as vice president of human resources for Hansen Medical, a publically-traded, medical robotics company headquartered in Mountain View. At Hansen, Leonard was instrumental in stabilizing and rebuilding the organization during a key transition in the business by recruiting critical hires, implementing innovative compensation and retention programs, and instituting key cultural changes. Prior to Hansen, she started a successful consulting business providing strategic and tactical HR services primarily to pre-IPO start-up companies, and held additional HR management positions with First Medical, Inc., Guidant/ACS, and Credo/Working Assets.
