Voting Opens January 18th for Amble Resorts' Travel Contest

CHICAGO, Jan. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Amble Resorts' Life-Changing Travel Contest has travelers flocking to the new travel blog, The Ambler, for a chance to win a free flight anywhere in the world. Launched in mid-December, the contest is quickly gaining momentum as globetrotters from around the world share their most life-changing travel moments in the hopes of fulfilling resolutions to travel in 2012.

This contest, by asking entrants to reflect on their own life-changing travel experiences and draw inspiration from the stories of others, aims to encourage people to broaden their travel horizons and explore the world in 2012. The contest will reward one commenter with a trip to the destination of their dreams, in the form of a $1,500 travel voucher on the airline of the winner's choice, valid any time in 2012.

The deadline for submissions to the Life-Changing Travel Contest is 11:59 CDT on Sunday, January 15th. The team at Amble Resorts will evaluate all entries to the contest and select the 10 travel moments that stand out from the rest, whether as the most poignant, entertaining, inspirational, humorous, thoughtful, provocative, or in some other aspect. On January 18th, 2012, the 10 finalists will be announced on The Ambler and the voting period will begin.

Members of the online travel community are encouraged to leave a comment on their favorite entry. Only the first comment left by a visitor to The Ambler constitutes their vote in favor of a particular entry; however, voters are encouraged to continue leaving comments and joining conversations related to any of the contest entries. Voting will be open to the public for a two-week voting period. The entry to receive the highest number of votes by January 31st 2012 will be announced as the winner of the Life-Changing Travel Contest.
