HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- VOXX Electronics Corporation (VEC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX), today announced the Company has signed a Letter of Intent with S4 Worldwide, LLC for exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute the SENTRY BodyCam, a real-time HD/IR streaming wearable body camera designed for military, police and law enforcement officials.

S4 Worldwide (S4W) provides mobile real-time situational awareness technologies to business decision-makers using environmentally friendly, solar and wind powered trailer-mounted systems. Video, audio, and sensor data is gathered from remote sites and electronically presented to users through a secure website and onto their laptops, tablets, or smartphones.

SENTRY BodyCam transmits a real-time HD video communications link for police and law enforcement officials for instant awareness and visibility from any location with an embedded GPS chip. The SENTRY BodyCam is self-powered up to 10 hours with portable lithium polymer battery supply, automatic video upload via Wi-Fi, automated notification of activity recorded and extended onboard and remote archiving capabilities.
