VTech® Taps Former Amazon Senior Manager Jennifer Eiselein To Lead Marketing Team

CHICAGO, July 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- VTech® (www.vtechkids.com), a world leader in age-appropriate and developmental stage-based electronic learning products for children, today announced the hiring of new Marketing Director Jennifer Eiselein. A former Amazon senior manager who was instrumental in the launches of the company's Kindle tablets and e-readers, Eiselein will lead VTech's marketing team from its U.S. headquarters in Chicago, IL.

In her new role, Eiselein will oversee the creation and execution of innovative campaigns for VTech's brands, employ strategies to generate brand awareness and demonstrate her established marketing skills to target customers to enhance growth in key markets.

Eiselein has more than 18 years of marketing and communications experience for hi-tech brands. Prior to joining VTech, she served as senior manager for merchandising and marketing at Amazon's Appstore in the U.S. and Canada, and managed campaigns for the launches of the Kindle tablets and e-readers in 2012 and 2013. Before her tenure at Amazon, Eiselein led advertising efforts for U.S. Cellular where she spearheaded the regional wireless carrier's entry into social media. She began her marketing career with PrimeCo Personal Communications after serving six years in the U.S. Army.
