The honor was presented on October 21, 2010 during the IEA's annual conference in San Diego.

The IEA Corporate Sustainability Award recognizes the Western Division's long-term commitment to sustainable industry practices as well as its annual sustainability report.

The Industrial Environmental Association (IEA) is a joint organization of the California Manufacturing and Technology Association and the Chemical Industry Council of California. The IEA was formed in 1983 to promote responsible, cost-effective environmental laws and regulations, facilitate environmental compliance and provide related education activities for the community at large. IEA members include Fortune 100 companies, state agencies, and county and municipal governments.
