Vuzix to Present Products at CEATEC JAPAN 2015 Show

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), ("Vuzix" or, the "Company"), a leading supplier of video eyewear and smart glasses products in the consumer, enterprise and entertainment markets, is pleased to announce that the company will showcase its iWear Video Headphones at the CEATEC JAPAN 2015 Show. The event will be held October 7 - 10, 2015 in the Chiba Prefecture, Japan at the Makuhari Messe venue. It is organized by the Japan Electronics Show Association (JESA). Visitor's to Vuzix' booth in Hall 3 3N50-5 will have the opportunity to review our latest wearable technology, including the M100 Smart Glasses and iWear Video Headphones. In addition, Vuzix' will have partners in attendance, including Logbar, NTT DATA and Asuka Lab, who will showcase their respective apps on Vuzix products. Asuka Lab will provide a demo of the Asuka Vision system for iWear HD. This system is available to read and display the 360⁰ images and videos taken by the new RICOH THETA S, slated for release at the end of this month. The 360⁰ images and videos are being provided for CEATEC courtesy of RIOCH.   Using the WebAPI Consortium's tools, Vuzix will showcase a Remote Field Service system with M100 Smart Glasses. Logbar will demonstrate VR (virtual reality) gaming on Vuzix products using its finger gesture device, Ring Zero, which recognizes gestures in order to control the iWear Video Headphones.

In addition, Keiichiro Fujii, Director of Operations Japan, Vuzix Corporation, will make a presentation on "Use Cases with Vuzix Smart Glasses and Localizing for Japanese Market", in the USA Showcase at 1pm on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
