Wally Chapman named Director of RBC Wealth Management's Central Division

Chapman joined RBC Wealth Management more than 20 years ago as a financial advisor, working his way up to manager of the firm's Edina, Minnesota branch before assuming leadership of the firm's 140-person Minneapolis complex in March 2015.

Earlier this year, industry trade publication On Wall Street included Chapman in its list of top 100 branch managers in the United States.

Before starting a career in financial services in 1988, Chapman played four years of hockey for the University of Minnesota, where he was captain of the team in 1986. He went on to play two years of minor league hockey, one in Germany and one in Utica, New York. Chapman joined RBC Wealth Management-U.S. in 1995. Today, in addition to his leadership role at RBC Wealth Management, he is heavily involved in the local community and serves on the boards of the Minneapolis Downtown Council and Hospitality House Youth Development.
