WaterTectonics acquires Dynamic Water Technologies' patents and intellectual property to be the exclusive provider of proprietary electrochemical treatment to industrial and commercial cooling tower applications.

EVERETT, Wash., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- WaterTectonics is pleased to announce the expansion of its electrochemical technology portfolio through the acquisition of Dynamic Water Technologies' (DWT) patents and intellectual property to be the exclusive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Dynamic Scale Remover (DSR), a proprietary electrochemical technology that has been validated and well proven to improve cooling tower performance while significantly reducing water and chemical consumption.

Together, Dynamic Water Technologies' proven electrochemical innovation and WaterTectonics' nearly three decades of engineering, manufacturing, and field service expertise deliver complete cooling tower treatment solutions for industrial and commercial facilities across North America.

The Dynamic Scale Remover uses a patented electrochemical process to remove dissolved scale-forming minerals before they can accumulate on heat transfer surfaces while simultaneously generating powerful oxidants from naturally occurring chlorides already present in the cooling water. The result is improved heat transfer efficiency, reduced scaling and biological fouling, lower chemical demand, and the ability to safely operate at higher cycles of concentration, helping facilities reduce both operating costs and water consumption.
