CHICAGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With some help from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the Wausau Elks will continue to plan, design and build accessible ramps for the elderly and disabled citizens of Marathon County, Wisconsin.
Elks Community Ramp Builders will be funded by an Impact Grant awarded to the Wausau Elks by the Elks National Foundation. Impact Grants are the newest addition to the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program. They are competitive grants designed to help Elks make a difference in their community. This year, Wausau Elks Lodge No. 248 is one of 49 recipients nationwide to receive an Impact Grant. The grants range from $2,500 to $10,000.
