Sanderson will report to Steve Prostano, the newly appointed head of Bank of the West's ultra high net worth business, and focus on delivering advanced and fully integrated planning solutions to these clients.

Based in Denver, Sanderson has spent the greater part of two decades advising highly affluent individuals, multi-generational families and family offices. Over the course of his career, he has built wealth planning practices for several prominent wealth management firms, both nationally and regionally, and ran a large single family office. He has extensive experience consulting with families on strategic wealth planning solutions, family dynamics, leadership and development. Prior to starting his career in financial services, Sanderson was a practicing attorney for over seven years with a focus on estate and international tax planning.
Sanderson holds a juris doctor degree from St. Mary's University School of Law, a masters of law degree in Taxation from the University of Denver and a bachelor of science in business administration degree in international business from the University of Colorado.
