WebPlus X5 now Available for Arabic-speaking Users

WinSoft International is proud to announce the availability of WebPlus X5, the affordable and easy-to-use web design software by Serif, for use in Arabic.

Middle Eastern and North African businesses will be glad to find that creating professional websites in Arabic has just gotten easier thanks to WinSoft International's release of Serif's WebPlus X5 software for use in Arabic.

WebPlus X5 is a complete business website designer, offering users the ability to easily design beautiful, professional websites. Powerful features like drag-and-drop and an intuitive interface allow even users with no web design experience to create high-quality websites. WinSoft International's localized versions of WebPlus X5 also offer advanced language settings, localized documentation (including a specific guide for help working with Arabic scripts) and local dictionaries for full language support.

In this new Arabic version, the interface is in English or French with Arabic features including OpenType font support for professional typography, support of bi-directional text (right-to-left or left-to-right direction), contextual shaping (when a character changes its shape according to the surrounding characters, such as for Arabic glyphs), combined glyphs (specific sequences of glyphs that can be combined into a single glyph), a predefined set of right-to-left buttons and navigation bars, and much more.

WinSoft International signed a partnership with UK-based software company Serif, creators of the award-winning PagePlus, PhotoPlus, WebPlus, DrawPlus and MoviePlus product range, in July 2010 to adapt Serif products for markets worldwide.

WebPlus X5 is the second Serif product to be localized by WinSoft International for use in Arabic. The company released other international versions of WebPlus X5, including Czech, Dutch, Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Swedish versions, as well as an International version with an English-language interface.

In the footsteps of the Middle Eastern version of WebPlus X5, WinSoft International will release Arabic and European-language versions of PhotoPlus X5 in the first half of 2012. All international versions of PagePlus X5 are available since August 2011.
