Wellcentive Earns NCQA Prevalidation for PCMH
Voluntary program provides automatic credits for practices using Wellcentive's population health solution to achieve NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition.
ATLANTA, Dec. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Wellcentive, a leader in value-based care and population health management solutions, announced today that their solution, Wellcentive Advance, has earned 2014 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Prevalidation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). As a result, practices using Wellcentive Advance can receive automatic credits toward NCQA PCMH recognition. Autocredits reduce the amount of documentation a practice must gather and present to NCQA to achieve Medical Home recognition.
NCQA PCMH Prevalidation includes a rigorous evaluation of a health IT solution's functionality including but not limited to, reporting functions, report examples, screen shots, live demonstrations and other relevant documentation.
Wellcentive's team of NCQA PCMH Certified Content Experts worked together to demonstrate functionality for each of the program's six standards, earning a total of 21.87 autocredits for clients pursuing PCMH recognition. Earning PCMH recognition can also support other quality program goals such as Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP), Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), Meaningful Use, and the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
