BOSTON, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Wellness Workdays, a leading provider of measurable and sustainable workplace wellness programs, today announced the launch of the 2027 Best Wellness Employer certification, a no-cost benchmarking survey that allows organizations to recognize the achievements of their workplace wellness initiatives and supports ongoing research designed to advance the field of worksite wellness.
Developed in collaboration with experts from Harvard Medical School and other industry leaders, the Best Wellness Employer certification recognizes organizations that demonstrate a commitment to enhancing employee well-being. The 2027 survey has been refreshed to make participation easier and more streamlined while better reflecting today's evolving workplace and the innovative ways organizations are supporting employee health and well-being.
The Best Wellness Employer certification offers organizations of all sizes the opportunity to showcase the strength and success of their wellness strategies. The rigorous evaluation provides organizations with an opportunity to highlight the successes of their wellness programs, demonstrate their commitment to employee well-being, and benchmark their practices against established standards. Certification can also help validate an organization's investment in wellness to employees, senior leaders, and external stakeholders.
"The workplace has changed significantly, and organizations are finding new and innovative ways to support the health and well-being of their employees," said Debra Wein, founder and CEO of Wellness Workdays. "We updated the Best Wellness Employer survey to make the process more accessible and efficient while ensuring that it continues to capture the strategies, initiatives, and outcomes that matter most in today's workplace. The survey provides employers with valuable benchmarking insights while contributing to a broader understanding of what drives successful workplace wellness programs."
Each organization is evaluated independently based on its own merits and is eligible to earn a Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Honorable Mention certification. Organizations are not competing against one another or ranked comparatively; each is assessed solely against the established criteria. Employers may complete the Best Wellness Employer survey at no cost, allowing them to benchmark their wellness initiatives without a fee. Organizations can also choose from optional add-on services designed to provide additional insight and recognition. These include an individualized summary report and feedback, a personalized trophy recognizing the organization's achievement, and a follow-up consultation with workplace wellness experts to discuss results and strategies for continued success.
Certified organizations will have the option to be recognized at Wellness Workdays Emerging Trends in Workplace Wellness Conference on April 8th, 2027. Employers can visit the Best Wellness Employer website to learn more about the survey, certification options, and available pricing packages.
The 2027 Best Wellness Employer Survey will be open from October 1 through November 20, 2026. Organizations interested in participating can learn more and complete the survey by visiting www.WellnessWorkdays.com/bwe.
